  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup cinnamon sugar mixture (for rolling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream softened butter with granulated and brown sugars until fluffy.
  4. Mix in apple butter, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
  5. Gradually fold in dry ingredients until just combined.
  6. Scoop dough into balls, roll in cinnamon sugar, and place on baking sheets spaced two inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden but centers remain soft. Cool slightly before transferring to wire racks.
